Getting error-133 when trying to open a trade with mt4

I have checked all the parameter I know to check. My keys will work when I try to do everything except when i click open trade i get error-133 in experts tab.

Hello,

Error 133 usually means trading is disabled for that instrument. Are you sure you are using the correct symbol? Your broker might require you to use GBPUSDp, GBPUSD#, GBPUSD. or other similar forms instead of the regular GBPUSD instrument. Are you able to open trades manually on that chart?

I trade with a friend that has the same broker as I do, his symbol and chart are the same as mine and his MK work fine. But, I tried to open a trade manually and it doesnt seem to give me the option to do so.

If you cannot open the trade manually it means there is something wrong with the account or the selected symbol is invalid. Does the pair show as greyed out in the merket watch window?

I got it working! I switched the symbol and everything is working properly. Thank you for the help

hi im getting the same issue here,n im with blackbull markets n they only got one symbol for gold?how can i fix this?

Check out the journal tab after pressing open trade and see if there is a textual description too of the error.
